The HL is at the highest level yet seen due to the exceptional rainfall event. See photos in the Photo Gallery.

Scotia Street causeway upgrade
The causeway surface has been prepared for a new layer of limechip to be spread. Before next winter we will also upgrade the Inverary to Stewart St causeway. This will cost about $1500, any contributions towards this cost would be helpful. Bank account 031737002079900.

The next Ki uta ki tai day will be held on Sunday September 17th. All are welcome. Morning tea and lunch provided.

Project Funding

To assist in our work at the HL we have a range of photo cards for sale.

 

There are 5 different cards plus envelopes for $10. They are blank inside and therefore useful for a range of occasions. Below is a sample of the photos on the cards. These cards can be purchased at the Waikouaiti Library, Hammer Hardware (Waikouaiti) or by e-mailing t.mckewen@clear.net.nz 

 

In addition donations to our projects at the lagoon are always welcome and very much appreciated.
